Computer... Coooomputerrrrrrrr!!!
Aaaah! You're awake, lets get on with this!
Condensed commanders log, days 4 and 5.
Yes... Two days I think. :-\
I had just set course to the Trifid Nebula some jumps ahead I started to enconter more and more T-Tauri and Brown Dwarf. This was a huge problem because I had to change course constantly to refuel. Soo I guess that this threw me a bit away from my previous well designed travel protocol which was. I would set a course to a star ahead, about 700 to 900 ly and I'd do that course no matter what. That way I'd know how far till I could get some rest. After I arrived to this region... I don't know the time anymore. (YES the time in my clock!!!)
I miss the perception of time and sometimes space. :-\ (I better lay of the sauce too...No worries there are only 10 cases left in the cargohold.)
This is a very dark region of space for someone that sees in the visible part of the spectrum. A bit brighter for those who can see infrared, which ain't my case. :-\
Wait!!! There's someone on the wing... :-o
Aaaaaah na! My ship has no wings. :-\
This region of space is affecting my judgment. :-\ Damn!!!
Well... but I still can recall some things to write in this log. Let me see... Aaaaaaaaaaaah!!!
Carefull there's a star system that has the beacon right between two stars. And it has 4 stars... Big system! Alot of stars in there. :-\ Cummon mate. Who in its right mind puts two stars that close?! Just look at this!
Then of into the darkness again. :-\
Computer, make mental note: Next time, remind me to buy a... how is it called?! Infrared seeing thingy. :-\ Camera! Thank you! That! Remember it, because I don't think that I will remember. :-|
Well after I don't know how long because I forgot to set the chronometer I got to the Trifid sector and the only thing I can still remeber is that I was 5207ly from Sol! :-\
Just look at me arriving there, and in therrrrrrrrrrrrr... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... zzzzzzzzzzzz... rrrrrrrr... zzzzzz...
Computer: The Commander is unconscious. Logging off.
This is the travel log of Commander Perseu expedition to the galaxy center...

Boring and kind of scary also.
I should change to Commanders log instead of Captain. Yeap.
Well... lets start. Ooooooooooh you're already recording! Could you erase that please?!
What do you mean NO?!
Counting to 10... inhaling...exhaling...
Commanders log, day 4!
I started in DROJU YF-L D9-54 which was a class A star and I had set a course to Hershel 36 right in the middle of the Lagoon Nebula.
Yes. I know there's a part of the trip that is missing. That had to due with some beers that I had in my cargohold and also with some... memory issues on my computer. :-\
But well... I started this part of my trip in DROJU YF-L D9-54.
A bit ahead I found DROJU GB-M B41-4 a High metal planet with Silicate vapor geysers. First time I pay enough attention to the scan report to notice this. Niceeee!!! :-)
A bit ahead and after stopping some times to refuel my ship and to see how she was, and seeing that after some problems everything was kind of fine.
In NGC6530 Sector XO-A D18 2, I found out a water world orbiting a gas giant. It had an Argon atmosphere and water geysers. :-) This was wierd, having a planet that isn't a snowball orbiting a gas giant. :-\ I did took some photos.
In the background is the Lagoon nebula getting bigger has I draw closer. :-)
Some systems ahead in NGC 6530 Sector HW-U B34-4 while trying to refuel I got to close to a class B star. I had to engage the emergency stop and it wasn't a good idea, because I added more damage to my ships systems and I got my hull to 98%. It was not that bad, but it ain't that good either.
After this I checked all ships systems, they were all around 98%, 97%, 96%... it was not that bad. I only repaired the more important systems like propulsion, life support,... And I went about my life.
In 2MASS J18033327-2441272 has I came out of the jump at the beacon I saw a gas giant class III very close to its star. It was interesting! Didn't knew they could be that close. :-\
But I think that the coolest thing was to find a water-world and a earth-like orbiting eachother.
A bit futher and I arrived at Herschel 36 right in the middle of the nebula. :-)
It's a beautifull binary of class O stars. Very hot stars. :-)
I remembered the astronomy class where my teacher told us about the nmemonics to remember the class of the stars. "Oh Be A Fine Girl Kiss Me" (O B A F G K M)! It helps me to remember till this day. :-)
In this quite system I tried to repair my ship and, well it's better not having more situations of bad luck, because my ammo of the repair system is very low after this and I'm about 4599 ly from Sol. :-\
Computer, stop recording and bring me a beer!!! What do you mean you don't have hands??? :-\

Alot of red lights... this ain't good. :-\
Lets see... this should be... day 3!
Yes!
Captains log: Day 3, I think! If not it starts now with day 3! :-\
I layed in a course to SMOJAI HR-W C1-17 hoping that this part of the expedition would be better then the previous. I had some tea, Earl Grey, hot, with a slice of lemon on the side and I drank it with my pinky finger up! This is one of the great things about deep space missions. There's no one to see you doing stupid stuff! :-) And tomorrow I'll wear boxers on my head! ;-)
Computer erase that part please...
What do you mean you cant erase?!?
What do you mean I'm not your master because you beat me at chess?!?!
Damned computer... Do you know what else is in the cargohold???? Scan the cargohold please.
What?!?! What do you mean you can't scan the cargo?!?! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah I took that module off... now I remember. Do you want me to take another module off??? Say... the AI module?!?!
I'm begining to get a bit fed up with this... A...I...! :-\ Maybe I'll retire it as soon as we dock.
Yes. You know what I mean! The recycling station where they'll crash your circuits into a small ball of twisted metal.
Now... where was I? Aaaaaaah yes.
Well... alot of boring systems with rocky planets and Ice balls, some gas giants.
I passed by a six stars system which looked awsome. We can only see 3 in the photo, because 2 of them were behind the nearest one. :) Cool right? :)
Has this was my first 6 stars system I... took... a selfie! :-p hihihihih!!!
Note to computer: The drone that took the selfie... didn't survive. "save" that information... Muahahahahaha!!!
Continuing...
Some jumps after I arrived at BLU THUA WV-E D11-96 and it was a 5 T-Tauri star system. :-\
I scanned it, but there was nothing more of interest there. The problem came when I activated the Supercruise drive. Suddenly everything starts to overheat, there are red lights flashing. :-\ Some sparks came from my console and I think I broke a nail when I jumped from my chair. :-\
I had to stay for a while to repair. The systems got has low has 95% nevertheless I'm not very fond of blowing up in space soo... I just stood there for about half an hour or so trying to repair the ship. Aaaaah I almost forgot. First the damage was only in two systems, which were the supercruise drive and the actual auto repair system but... I engaged the auto repair while in supercruise. I know. It wasn't the smartest of the ideas which led to a kind of an abrupt exit from supercruise which led to alot of damage through out the several systems of the ship. I know it was very dumb on my part. But I think that the computer was on it out of revenge. :-\
Note to computer: If the ship blows up. So do you! ;-)
What do you mean watch the life support?!? :-\
Note to self: Check the manual override of the life support system.
After the mess was clear I continued my voyage and winded up in SMOJAI DQ-Y B2 AB 1, on which after the system scan I found another water-world. this time the computer told me that it could be terraformed. What a catch. :-) I'm getting the hang of exploring. :-)
Ok computer there's no need to overheat, ok? I promisse that if you behave I'll get you a nice tablet girl-computer-friend, or boy-computer-friend... or... some home appliance-friend. :-)
A few more jumps and I arrived at my final destination good old SMJAI HR-W C1-17...
And there was nothing of interest there. :-\
And now. I'm 2869ly away from Sol. :-) pretty awsome. :-)
Computer... end recording! Yeah... I... love you too. :-) Here... a text flower @-,-'---

Some surprises ahead.
I sleept for a couple of hours. I got some strange dreams that suddenly turned into nightmares. I saw my cockpit window shattering near a brown dwarf, my thrusters were offline. I was trying to get them back online but my autorepair system was faulty... My ship was falling into the brown dwarf. There were warnings all over, temperature raising, hull instability... And suddenly I wake up in my ship orbiting BRSO 14.
Wow man... that was a messed up dream. :-\
I get my brain back into my skull. I call the galaxy map and I set a course to the system M7 Sector CH-L C8-7.
A bit further I was getting low on fuel again, and every star I passed was a brown dwarf or something that didn't wanted to share it's hydrogen with me. So I had to make another detour to BLU THUA IM-W D1-49...
A few more jumps and I arrived at my destination. It took me 3 hours to get to BLU THUA XS-G B24-4 and I was now at 2017ly from Sol. :-) It was the further I had been from home. And it felt great. :-)
I left my ship orbiting the star and went to bed. Yes... I made a kind of a cozy nest in the cargohold.:-\
I want to have a confortable expedition. :-)

This part of the trip was boring has hell. Good thing I had a pad with The Solitaire.
I bit later the solitare also got boring. Soo... I played some chess with the onboard computer. That wasn't a good idea because I... well... I wanted to kill the computer at some point it's not that I don't like to loose. It's just that I don't like to loose all the time. It wasn't a great idea to fly a ship without a navigation computer. Soo... I just spent about 700 ly bored has hell just doing the same boring tasks... scan system... watch system map... tell the computer to jump to the next system... check the fuel...

Almost arriving to my destination... I arrived at system M7 Sector CH-L C8-12 with two water worlds with an atmosphere similar to Earth... This was a catch! I got some nice detailed scans of this planets.
I forgot to take pictures, sorry... But I'll paint a picture. Here it goes...
Those two planets were blue... and had clouds. It had no visible land masses, soo... if u wanna go there, be sure to have a boat with you. :-\

I refueled my ship and got on my way again. A some jumps ahead I got into a region with a huge concentration of brown dwarf which made me rethink me strategy with the fuel because I didn't wanted to get stranded without fuel in this empty systems were the probability of finding someone is smaller then winning the lottary ten times in a row, and if you find someone the probability of them helping you is smaller then... a quark inside a glass of water?!?! Doesn't make sense? Well no worries. DON'T RUN OUT OF FUEL 1500ly FROM HOME. :-\
Soo... I made my first detour to a system with a G-type star called PRAEA EUQ IO-Z D 13, I refueled then I went for a spin around the system. It didn't had anything of great interest. But I took some picture to show my grandson one day...

Check it... ;-)

One day I just packed my stuff and went away...
Well... this last months I've been around. I've joined the President Zachary. Well everybody needs a direction. I thought that this could be a possible path to get some more money to get a better ship and be on my way to the center of the galaxy. But has time passed I began to get fed up with the situation. Too much people wonder in this systems. Too many ships... I needed some quite. So I thought. I've my Asp well fitted... It seems like a good day to vanish into the unknown!
I started my voyage in the Frey system. I decided that I would try to do each day about 1000 ly.
I opened the galaxy map and I pointed toward the Crab Nebula. :) I always wanted to go there and see the remaints of a supernova. :) Soo... the first leg of my trip was toward BRSO 14. Right in the middle of the nebula, 342ly away from where I was. I passed a region where most stars were brown dwarfs which begun to make me nervous because I couldn't refuel, but then I saw the the systems ahead had some stars from where I could syphon hydrogen.
Has I entered BRSO 14 I looked around and... well saw space. :-\ If you're inside a nebula the density of gas is soo small that you won't see much. :-\ What you see from a distance is the sum of the light emitted from the several layers of ionized gas. :-\ Still there was the dwarf. :)
Well traveling this distance gets one a bit tired, so I got out of supercruise pointed my cockpit toward the star and pulled a can of beer and just stood there looking till I fell asleep... in the silence of space...

The preparations
Well... how to start this?!
I never was much of storyteller... Yes... ok... I do tend to talk alot but. In my defense I'm not much of a storyteller so bear with me. And here we go!
For some time now I've been a bit tired of people. You know... they tend to talk alot, they tend to want all and usually they don't care about anyone else besides their own bellybutton. This doesn't seat right with me, so... I thought... I'm tired of pirates and yes it includes polititians(Those are the worst kind.).
Soo I thought I should you know... pack my things and be on my way towards the center of the galaxy. There won't be much people there. Actually there are only people a couple hundred light-years from Sol. Then a bit toward the center well... There will be less and less colonies, which means less people to mess with me.
Soooooo... A couple of days ago I was making my rare items run to Fujin system. I was a couple of light-seconds away from exiting my jump when I got interdicted by a pirate with a wanted sign. Well... I had lost a ship a day earlier to another pirate in Leesti. So I just didn't wanted to be alone in my suit just waiting for someone to lock into my emergency beacon to pick me up. Soo I talked to this guy and I explained to him I was fed up with people in general, and that I wanted to go to the galaxy center which is very very very far... He made a point that he wanted my cargo and I can relate to that because I also wanted my cargo, if not it wouldn't be on my ship. So I started to talk to him. He says: "You've to pay a toll. I'd like 8 tons of your finest cargo. Please."
Well he said please. Very polite pirate-gentelman.
So I replied, "Well I really need this cargo, because I need to get some money to go away in an quest."
And he says: "Yes. But I want those 8 tons."
I say: "Well what about we make a deal?!"
Him: "What kind of a deal?"
Me: "Do you want to join me on my quest?! To explore the center of the galaxy?"
Him: "Well that doesn't seat well with me. I don't like those kinds of trips!"
Me: "Ok. You've scanned my cargo, you know what I carry soo... how about you simply choose 4 tons of what you think it'll give you more money and I'll give them to you?"
Him: "Ok. What do you think would be best?"
Me: "I don't know mate. Well let me give you this 4 tons of...(I don't remember)"
I jettison the cargo into space, and then we started to talk. Well... He told me of a route of rares that I'd be safe. And also gave me some more pointers. Well has he was a very helpfull person I gave him 4 more tons of cargo. After that we became friends.
After a couple more runs I managed to upgrade my shields, timeshift drive and power plant to level B. I also got an intermediate discovery scanner and a detailed surface scanner. Soo... I think that I'm almost ready to go. I'll make some tests to my setup in the nearby empty systems and well... I'll be gone not to be missed in my jorney to the stars. Alone...
